Bring Down the Wall

Find success with God in bringing down the walls that need to come down in your life.

“This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success.” Joshua 1:8 NAS

The world is filled with all types of opportunities for you to become a success according to the world’s standards. In fact there are competitive ways of achieving what you want without being concern about how you attained your success. In the work environment we can play the “I spy” tattletale game seeking to advance your position while demoralizing your integrity and the demolition of another human beings life. Maybe you are in a situation, or have been, where you have destroyed a marriage because you just knew he was the one for you; believing together you would be more successful with him than alone. Or possibly there have been times when you cheated on a take home exam. The professor said close book, no notes; placed in a position of honor and integrity but the temptation was too great to refuse so you yielded and cheated. Why? The opportunity to look good and grab success was right there.

Ladies I want you to know without a doubt the easy way out doesn’t bring success but unfavorable consequences. Sometime, if you are caught, you will receive them from man; but more importantly they will come from our Heavenly Father. The Lord has given us a plan to reach success without causing you to forfeit your character, integrity or dignity. It’s time to stop trying to find the easy way out and take a stand by allowing the Word of God to impact your life and bring about success.

I beg you to get into your Word, study it day and night. Meditate on it until it captures your heart and mind. Joshua was a leader. He couldn’t accomplish his assignment without wisdom from the Word of God. God affords you and I the same opportunity of reaching success but it can only be attained by His Word. God’s expectations for us are high, yet if we follow His request you will be prosperous, and then you will have success. Joshua had to bring down the wall of Jericho in order to fulfill his assignment of taking the Israelites into the promise land. What wall is the Lord wanting you to destroy in your life? Is it lust, fornication, adulatory, lying, cheating, incest, rape, what is it? Take a step today by spending time meditating on His Holy Word.

Bring down the wall, you can be victorious my sisters.
